Large Egg Shape Vase - Cascading Glaze

This hand-built ceramic vase features a softly rounded, sculptural form with a gently tapered opening. The egg-shaped vase has a striking combination of glossy ocean-blue glaze cascading over the warm caramel tones at the base of the vase.

Nature

The fluidity of pouring the glazes over each piece explores what happens when organic movement is captured in stoneware. The glaze has a beautiful fluid quality, with teal glaze pouring over the base glaze to create a coastal-pools effect. The vase has a simple, sculptural silhouette that allows the glaze art to become the main feature. Its slightly irregular handmade character and variation in colour gives it a distinctive, one-of-a-kind feel.
