A variety of small handcrafted ceramic vases with a softly rounded, organic ovoid form with a tapered neck and a gently narrowed opening. Many of the ceramics are wrapped in a richly layered band of glazes, from deep ocean blue earthy brown to lighter tones and variations.

Some of the glazes have a beautiful fluid quality, with colours bleeding and pooling into one another to create a coastal-pools effect. The vases has a simple, sculptural silhouette that allows the glaze art to become the main feature. Its slightly irregular handmade character and variation in colour give them a distinctive, one-of-a-kind feel. 

Nature

The fluidity of pouring the glazes over each piece explores what happens when organic movement is captured in stoneware. This glaze colour and formation here resembles lichen or mosses growing on coastal rocks: teal blues, punctuated by touches of green, ochre and sand.
